That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) to find and screen potential influencers whose clients will benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with potential influencers, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of our products and excels in seeing new opportunities, building relationships, and setting up Business Development Representatives for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and the ability to showcase our products above the competition.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPromoting and marketing Smart Start products through extensive and persistent cold calls, Hub Spot, emails, live chat, and other forms of communication to prospective influencersScheduling initial meetings for the field sales teamManage the Dots on Map programResearching and developing influencer prospects through web searches and social mediaProvide technical expertise as it applies to both government officials and consultative selling with influencers.Obtain market intelligence to ensure Smart Start’s competitive agility and strategy in the marketplaceDevelop new sales strategies specific to the competitive approach and influencer opportunityEducate influencers on the full scope of product functionality including reporting platformsMaintain a high level of proficiency and knowledge in Smart Start products and monitoring platformsBe an expert on state regulations and rules pertaining to impaired driving, ignition interlock, and alcohol monitoringProactively see new influencer opportunities within the marketQualificationsPrior Sales ExperienceStrong communication and relationship skillsCompetitive ability to work in a strong sales environmentStrong communication skills while maintaining the ability to be a quality team memberAbility to solve problems and make educated decisionsSelf-starter with a top level competitive nature and strong initiative to succeedExpert in sales communication tools; Email, Text, Phone, Social-Media, In-PersonIndustry KnowledgeBusiness Sales AcumenExcellent Relationship, Communication and Organizational SkillsExperience related to Impaired Driving, Ignition Interlock, and Alcohol Monitoring programsCollege Degree Preferred (Associate or Bachelor)Above average computer proficiency (MS Office Suite, CRM (Hub spot) and Proprietary Software Systems)Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
