As a Sales Development Representative, you will engage with professionals and organizations in New York City, building relationships and driving participation in BrainStation's initiatives within the dynamic tech community.ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Growth and Sales teams to strategically engage professionals and organizations across AI, Data, Design, Marketing, and Product—working through BrainStation’s database and outreach tools to unlock new relationships and deepen existing onesStrengthen company-level and individual connections through thoughtful, high-impact engagement that reflects BrainStation’s position as a leader in digital educationStay deeply attuned to the tech and innovation landscape in NYC—tracking key conferences, summits, and community moments—and leverage BrainStation’s brand presence to engage relevant audiences and spark new conversationsSupport the planning and execution of world-class events that showcase our offerings and create meaningful experiences for our communityCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure outreach strategies are targeted, measurable, and aligned with team goalsCultivate relationships with key stakeholders, alumni, and advocates to drive long-term community growth and impactContribute to a high-performance team culture that prioritizes results, collaboration, and a shared commitment to delivering best-in-class experiencesSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience1–3 years of professional experience in marketing, partnerships, business development, or community-related rolesA strong communicator who's energized by meeting new people and making authentic connectionsSelf-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable working across communication channels—phone, email, video, and in-personEnthusiastic about learning new tools and processesExperience working with CRM or outreach tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach) is an assetPassion for community-building, education, and creating positive experiencesHave you been to a campus or joined an online learning opportunity?
