Sales Development Representative

Our mission is to take our beloved verticalized travel experience global through an all-encompassing travel platform that offers trips, experiences, and concierge services.Position Overview: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Wander, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying and nurturing potential clients. Your primary focus will be on outbound cold calling and pitching, and serving as the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for ensuring a smooth hand-off to our Account Executives (AEs), maintaining engagement throughout the process, and ensuring timely follow-ups. This role offers a competitive commission potential for securing high-quality, “10/10” homes, making it a vital part of our sales strategy.Key Responsibilities:Cold Calling and PitchingThorough Discovery ProcessScheduling and Coordination:Schedule Deep Dive meetings, adding calls for all parties to calendars with video conferencing linksEnsure all parties accept invites and follow up to confirm availabilityIntroduce AEs to owners/prospects via email Meeting Participation and Documentation:Attend Deep Dive meetings, take detailed notes, and review call recordings for continuous learningCreate projections and capex requirements ahead of each callReview calls with leadership for additional coachingSend a call summary to all parties along with relevant documentsFollow-Up:Maintain open lines of communication, ensuring follow-ups if there’s a period of no contactSchedule and attend contract review calls, adding to calendars with video conference linksSend summaries and follow up after a week if contracts remain unsignedQualifications:Must be live in PST, CST, MST, or ESTMust have a professional work set-up with high speed internet and an iPhoneProven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the travel or real estate industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and schedulesSelf-motivated with a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independentlyProficient in using CRM software, Google Docs, and ZoomAbility to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentCompensation:Competitive base salary with uncapped commissions.Benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance for US-based candidates.Opportunities for career growth and development within Wander.How to Apply: If you are passionate about revolutionizing the travel experience and meet the qualifications listed above, we would love to hear from you. https://www.wander.com/careers/81e0e6e9-4866-4286-b1e9-cc384d81afb8
