Responsibilities Articulate athenahealth’s value to potential prospects via various outlets, including phone, online and in-person Build effective outreach strategies by leveraging partnership with sales counterparts, marketing and other internal tools and content Partner with Sales Executives in assessing effectiveness of outreach strategy Establish initial relationships with prospects to qualify opportunity and initiate handoff to the Sales Executive team Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 1 - 3 years of professional sales experience 1 - 3 years of outbound cold calling and prospecting experience Working knowledge of Salesforce Strong business acumen Strong critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal Ability to build rapport with prospects by identifying pain and creating value with athenahealth's solutions Strong presentation and professionalism (both on the phone and in person) A team player and positive attitude Exceptional organizational and time management skills Mastery of all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Benefits Commuter support Employee assistance programs Tuition assistance Employee resource groups Collaborative workspaces Some offices even welcome dogs Company Overview Athenahealth is a provider of medical practice automation and claims management software to medical groups and health systems.
