Sales Analytics, Predictive Modeling Internship

The RoleThe Sales Analytics, Predictive Modeling Intern eliminates friction and inefficiency for the Voltus sales teams. This person is passionate about putting the best prospects into the hands of salespeople, and surfacing the best quality in the industry. This person would build a predictive model that estimates opportunity size using critical prospect information. Key Responsibilities Create and deploy a predictive model that estimates the opportunity size of a location based on inputs from a variety of sourcesIdentify and validate variables and parameters required for accurate predictionsEvaluate, validate, and tune model using real and test dataSolid foundation in data cleaning, preparation, and transformationExperience leading or working independently on a data project end-to-end demonstrating skills in project management, problem solving, and collaborationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations and Engineering to define, implement, and automate model outputsProficiency with statistical analysis and tools including Microsoft Excel, Salesforce CRM, Python, R, SQLDesire to learn and understand our processes to support marketing and sales efforts, including developing and managing our lead generation processesInterest in learning and applying best practices in data analysis & data scienceInterest or experience with using software engineering tools like git, CRUD REST APIs, jupyterGood communication and teamwork abilitiesEagerness to learn and take initiative Additional Information At Voltus, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
