SaaS Project Manager
SaaS Project Manager (Fully Remote)About the Role
Visionlink is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to support the delivery of our SaaS platform and client implementations.
This customer-facing role bridges Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to move custom development projects from initiation through release.
Our customers serve at-risk populations, so priorities can shift quickly in response to real-world events. The work is meaningful and requires adaptability, strong judgment, and clear communication strategies. The ideal candidate has remote work experience, is highly self-directed, and excels at aligning distributed teams.
⢠*A cover letter or letter of interest is required, along with your resume.**
Key Responsibilities
⢠Lead end-to-end delivery of SaaS projects, including custom development and new customer implementations
⢠Collaborate with Engineers and Business Analysts to define and refine product requirements and customer needs
⢠Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and development-ready tickets
⢠Manage project timelines, scope, and priorities across multiple initiatives
⢠Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers to ensure successful delivery
⢠Facilitate communication across distributed teams, ensuring alignment across time zones and remote-work dynamics
⢠Monitor and report on project progress, release status, and key milestones
⢠Support the development of Statements of Work (SOWs), including Level of Effort (LOE) estimates and task breakdowns
⢠Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and remote team collaboration
How We Work (and What to Expect)
⢠Competing priorities: Our customers operate in real-world, high-impact environments, so urgent needs can emerge quickly. Youâll need to be comfortable re-prioritizing frequently, context switching throughout the day, and making decisions with incomplete information
⢠Customer engagement: You'll work directly with customers, building rapport and trust over time. Understanding their needsâand how those needs evolveâis critical to prioritizing the right work and building relationships
⢠Multi-stakeholder environment: Youâll work with multiple teams who may have different goals and perspectives. Strong alignment skillsâespecially the ability to clarify tradeoffs and drive decisionsâare critical
⢠Communication across levels: Youâll communicate regularly with team members, leadership, and customers. Being able to adjust your message for different audiencesâwhether itâs detailed execution, high-level updates, or customer-facing conversationsâis key
⢠High ownership: Youâll be expected to identify problems, propose solutions, and move work forward without waiting for perfect clarity
⢠Unblocking work: When progress stalls, youâll step inâwhether that means clarifying requirements, facilitating decisions, or coordinating across teams
⢠Fully remote, async-first: Clear written communication and proactive updates are essential to keeping work moving across distributed teams
⢠Balancing planned and reactive work: Youâll manage both roadmap-driven initiatives and more urgent, high-priority requests. Navigating that balance without losing momentum on longer-term work is a core part of the role.
What Success Looks Like
⢠Projects are delivered with clarity on scope, tradeoffs, and timelinesâeven when priorities shift
⢠Teams stay aligned and unblocked, despite competing demands
⢠You bring increasing structure to how work is prioritized and executed
⢠Stakeholders have confidence in delivery, communication, and decision-making
⢠You effectively balance responsiveness to urgent needs with longer-term progress
Qualifications
⢠2â4 years of project management experience in a SaaS or software development environment
⢠Demonstrated success working in a fully remote or distributed team
⢠Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle
⢠Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success
⢠Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
⢠Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
⢠Ability to work independently and proactively drive projects forward without close supervision
⢠Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., YouTrack, Asana, or similar; Slack, Zoom, etc.)
⢠Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear, asynchronous communication
What We're Looking For
⢠A strong communicator who operates effectively in a remote-first environment
⢠A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of outcomes
