SaaS Account Manager

The SaaS Account Manager plays a vital role in driving the expansion and retention of existing SaaS accounts, focusing on nurturing client relationships and managing account growth. Responsibilities Manage the entire account lifecycle from renewal to expansion, demonstrating a proactive approach in identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients to assess their needs and align our solutions to their business goals, ensuring sustained account growth and satisfaction Maintain high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction by providing timely and effective solutions to client needs and inquiries Develop a deep understanding of each accountโ€™s unique challenges and opportunities, crafting customized strategies to maximize value and loyalty Collaborate closely with the customer support and product teams to address any product-related issues or enhancements that will benefit the client, enhancing their overall experience and satisfaction Utilize CRM systems to track account activity, sales progress, and lead management, ensuring all account information is up-to-date and communications are logged and followed Achieve and exceed assigned sales and customer loyalty targets, maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities for account growth Skills 1 โ€“ 3 years of relevant experience in a sales or account management role Strong understanding of technology products and the broader SaaS market, skilled in clearly and effectively communicating complex product features and advantages Proven track record of managing customer relationships and achieving sales targets within a SaaS environment High level of professionalism and customer-centric approach, with exceptional skills in negotiation and problem resolution Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of initiative and drive Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, SFDC, and other sales and customer relationship management tools Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively High level of professionalism, ethical conduct, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all business interactions Benefits High income earning opportunities based on self-performance Opportunity for Presidents Club Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing Sales training in MEDDIC and Command of the Message Generous competitive benefits supporting your health, financial security, and work-life balance Company Overview Commvault is a cyber resilience platform built for recovery and protection against threats.
