Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Russian/Ukrainian Speaking Therapist to join our mental health services team in a remote setting, telehealth care. The successful candidate will deliver culturally sensitive psychotherapy and counseling to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Supervision will be provided to support professional growth and ensure adherence to clinical standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in crisis management, behavioral therapy, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Key responsibilities include conducting intake evaluations, delivering individual and group therapy sessions, managing crisis situations effectively, and maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. The therapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes and participate in clinical research initiatives when applicable. Duties
• Conduct thorough intake assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focusing on trauma, grief, addiction, behavioral issues
• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy,and motivational interviewing.
• Manage crisis situations through effective intervention strategies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.
• Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Collaborate with medical professionals for medication management involving psychopharmacology when appropriate.
• Participate in supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.

Skills
• Proven expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and individuals.
• Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic evaluation documentation.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote service delivery.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments utilizing medical terminology and behavioral health best practices.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse populations across cultural backgrounds.
• Experience working within inpatient or outpatient clinical settings is preferred.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to medical records management.
• Skills in social work principles, case management strategies, and group therapy facilitation.
