About the position

The Rockies Gas Scheduling Manager is responsible for leading a team to implement the regional supply plan, ensuring the efficient and reliable physical delivery of products to customers. This role involves strategic development for scheduling activities, coordinating with collaborators to manage product delivery, and minimizing costs while maintaining flow assurance. The position emphasizes a positive team culture, effective communication, and continuous improvement in business processes.

Responsibilities
• Lead a positive, team-based culture of professional excellence through effective performance management and people development.

• Provide leadership to ensure successful delivery of systems programs in collaboration with senior management.

• Proactively identify opportunities to simplify business processes and reduce costs.

• Establish communication processes for clear delivery of key priorities and messages.

• Work with internal and external customers to ensure 100% flow assurance.

• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external counterparts to achieve BP objectives.
,
• Ensure timely escalation and resolution of scheduling and flow assurance issues.
,
• Stay informed about BP's Compliance policies and agendas.
,
• Participate in regional commercial strategy activities and support regulatory processes.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant industry experience.
,
• Demonstrated knowledge of gas scheduling, transportation, and operations.
,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
,
• Strong project management skills.
,
• Solid communication skills (written and verbal).
,
• Self-starter and independent thinker.
,
• Proven ability to interact across the organization effectively.
,
• Demonstrated ability to simplify and standardize processes.
,
• Minimum 10 years of industry and applicable experience.

Nice-to-haves
• Previous natural gas scheduling experience highly desired.

• Experience in the West - Rockies, Southwest, California.
,
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
