Robotics Deployment Technician (Part-Time)

They are seeking a motivated individual to deploy and support robotic systems, focusing on hands-on work and customer interaction.ResponsibilitiesConfigure, program, and deploy robots at customer sitesSupport on-site installations, demos, and proof-of-concept setupsDocument deployment steps and field learnings to improve repeatable processesWork closely with senior team members to execute deployments and learn best practicesTrain customers on robot operation and workflowsProvide basic troubleshooting and support (on-site and remote)Assist with demos, trade shows, and presentationsHelp create training materials and documentationSupport testing of workflows and robot performanceSkillsCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from a technical, engineering, or related program—or equivalent hands-on experienceHands-on experience or strong interest in working with tools, equipment, or technical systems (e.g., robotics, AV, IT, mechanical, or similar)Strong interest in automation, robotics, and working with technology in real-world environmentsComfortable using hand tools, basic wiring, and working directly with robotic hardwareSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-changing environmentsAble to communicate clearly with non-technical customers and translate technical concepts into practical solutionsMust have reliable transportation and ability to travel to customer sitesPrevious experience in customer-facing, field service, or hands-on technical roles is a plusExperience with ROS, Python, or C++Exposure to cloud-based systems, wireless networking, or embedded devicesFamiliarity with robot localization, mapping, or SLAMBenefitsReal-world exposure to the growing field of service roboticsMentorship from experienced sales and operations leadersClear path to full-time role and career growth within Rota RoboticsBe part of Rota Robotics’ People-First Automation Framework, where robots are deployed to support staff, streamline operations, and improve customer experience—ensuring technology works alongside people, not in place of themCompany OverviewWe are an authorized distributor of Keenon Robotics in the US.
