Position Description Title: RN ADON – Bethlehem, PA # of Positions: 1 Schedule: Full time 7-3 Facility: TBA General Comments Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 Salary based on years of experience JOB REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: • BSN required; MSN preferred. • 3 years minimum nursing experience is required. • 2 years or more years with staff development and training program experience. • Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to LTC facility required. • Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities as cited above will be considered. • The ADON must have prior ADON experience and strong leadership skills. The CEO and the President of their Board of Directors are both RNs, so candidates for this position must be polished Required Licenses/Certifications • Licensed Registered Nurse within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Our turnover rate varies typically 1 -7% range. Our turnover rate for July was 1.66. We have many long term employees who have been with our Facility10 – 30 years! • * Are you using travel or agency nurses? Yes, currently have two contracted local agencies with whom we have daily/weekly communication. The goal, of course, is to eliminate the use of agency staff. • * Is there a ADON and Unit Manager (s)? Yes, we have all of the above! We also have an (RN) House Supervisor on each shift. • * Who does the Infection Control ? We have a full-time (RN) Infection Preventionist on staff. • * The ADON must have prior ADON experience and strong leadership skills.
