Outpatient NurseNavigator, Registered Nurse (RN) Neurological SurgeryJoin our growing team ofspecialists in the Department of Neurology at MedStar Washington HospitalCenter! As a registered nurse on our team, you'll work alongside more than 13 neurologists and experienced staff that specialize in a broad range of neurologicaldisorders, including: Electroencephalogram (EEG), EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies,and Epilepsy Monitoring.Currently our team would liketo identify a registered nurse with Neuroscience, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pain Management, Brain Tumor, and /or Orthopedic experience to join the teamas a Nurse Navigator. The RN Navigator will be responsible for thecoordination of patient care across the continuum of care for all patients.She/he will also be largely responsible for educating and providing informationthat supports patient treatment plans. The Navigator for this role will support a 60% Neurosurgery, 30% Neurology, and 10% Brain Tumor caseloads. This would include acting as the patient advocate forthe patients and families throughout care.Please note, our outpatientfacility typically operates M-F, 8am-5pm with some schedulingflexibility based on patient and staff scheduling.Apply today to join ouroutpatient specialist group!
