RN Clinic - Family Medicine - Hybrid (Remote & 4S Ranch)

This is a per diem position working 8-hr shifts generally starting at 8am or 8:30am. We have weekday and weekend shifts available for coverage, ideally would work 3-6 shifts every 2 weeks as needed. The role is hybrid-both on-site at our 4S Ranch clinic and remote. Initial training will be on-site for 2-8 weeks (ideally 40 hours/week for 2 weeks), the duration is based on training progress. After training, you will work one week on-site followed by four weeks remote for the shifts picked up. Why join Scripps Health? What you'll do: β€’ Primarily indirect patient care (phones, messages) but may provide direct patient care when working on site. β€’ Assist patients, staff, and physicians as needed to maintain a high level of efficiency of operations and customer service while providing quality care to the designated patient population. β€’ Assist with the leadership of the clinical and clerical staff. β€’ Provide direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice. β€’ Phone triage and triaging patients who present to the clinic β€’ Assist with phone calls and portal messages β€’ Documentation in EMR (electronic medical record) β€’ Perform nursing tasks within scope of practice. β€’ Support OBGYN and work a hybrid of onsite and remote to assist the team as needed. β€’ Practice autonomously consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance and be able to delegate tasks appropriately. β€’ Independent judgment is expected to be exercised within the context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care. #LI-EE1 Qualifications Required Certification/Registration: β€’ CA RN License β€’ BLS through the American Heart Association Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: β€’ 2+ years of Adult Medicine experience as an RN β€’ RN experience in Pediatrics and/or OBGYN β€’ Telephone triage experience β€’ Clinic/outpatient experience β€’ Remote work background β€’ Epic EHR proficiency β€’ MS Office Suite familiarity Apply tot his job
