As we continue to expand our operations and strengthen our market position, we’re looking for a Team Lead - Risk Management to lead our risk management team and drive innovation in trading risk strategies. Oddin’s Call We’re on the hunt for an experienced Team Lead - Risk Management to take full ownership of our Risk department. This role is critical for ensuring the integrity of our operations and driving continuous improvement in risk management processes. You’ll be the strategic leader behind our risk operations, shaping how we approach fraud prevention, market assessment, and operational risk – all while building and developing a team of 6+ talented Risk Analysts. Risk Strategy & Operations - Develop and oversee risk management strategies across trading operations. - Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and market risks. - Lead risk assessments for new markets, tournaments, and product launches. - Establish robust fraud prevention measures and maintain operational integrity. - Provide regular risk reports and strategic insights to executive leadership and stakeholders. Team Leadership & Development - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 6+ Risk Analysts, setting structure, priorities, and direction. Important to say, we have colleagues also in Peru, so it is an international team. - Oversee the entire employee journey – from hiring and onboarding to performance reviews, salary discussions, and offboarding – with support from HR. - Foster a positive team atmosphere through regular 1:1s, feedback sessions, and team-building activities. - Address difficult conversations with professionalism and integrity, always striving to create a culture of trust and mutual respect. Process Improvement & Automation - Identify opportunities to enhance risk operations through automation and process optimization. - Develop strategies to increase operational efficiency and minimize manual workloads. - Collaborate with Product and Data Science teams to drive innovation in risk assessment tools and systems. Financial Oversight & Invoicing - Prepare invoicing details and collaborate with Controlling on financial reporting. - Calculate team invoices, ensuring accuracy in worked hours, night shifts, and vacation days. - Manage bonus distribution and assess salary adjustments based on performance. Client & Management Communication - Report directly to the COO, delivering detailed risk assessments and strategic recommendations. - Join monthly client calls to discuss the risk agenda and provide insights. - Participate in management discussions and contribute to decision-making processes. - Represent Oddin.gg ’s risk approach in prospect calls with potential clients.
