Risk Specialist (Hybrid)
Georgia United Credit Union is seeking a Risk Specialist to support their risk management program. The role involves operational support, vendor management, business continuity processes, and conducting risk analysis while maintaining confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of the position.ResponsibilitiesProvides support to branches and colleagues by responding to inquiries related to QA documents and file maintenanceReviews and validates credit union documentation to ensure completeness and adherence with established guidelinesConducts daily reviews of new account reports related to depositsPrepares weekly reports for all departments and branches and ensures member files are accurately maintained and updatedMaintains the development of the complaint management processResponsible for maintenance of the Business Continuity ProgramFacilitates the collection and organization of data for the internal audit program in collaboration with the Risk Manager and external auditorsSupports the risk management program by analyzing audit exceptions and findings to identify risk trends, recommending solutions, requesting steps to mitigate risk, promoting prevention plans, and monitoring the event resolutionRecommends mitigation factors and modifications in collaboration with manager.
