Risk Management Analyst (Federal Cybersecurity & Compliance)
Join a high-impact team supporting critical federal missions through advanced cybersecurity and risk management practices. In this role, you will evaluate IT systems, identify risks, and help implement strategies that strengthen security posture and ensure compliance with federal standards.
You will analyze systems, processes, and operations to uncover cybersecurity, operational, and compliance risks. Partnering closely with ISSOs, technical teams, and federal stakeholders, you’ll recommend and implement mitigation strategies, controls, and policies aligned with frameworks such as NIST RMF, FISMA, and FedRAMP. You will also support POA&M development, conduct risk assessments, and deliver clear, actionable reports to leadership.
This position offers strong visibility and the opportunity to influence enterprise-level risk decisions. You’ll collaborate across functions, contribute to long-term security strategies, and help promote a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or security engineering
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-37 RMF, FISMA, and FedRAMP
• Experience conducting risk assessments and compliance monitoring in federal environments
• Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Tableau, or Power BI
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
• U.S. Citizenship with eligibility for Public Trust clearance
Preferred: CISSP, CRISC, or similar certifications
