Risk & Compliance Specialist Fintech Card Product
About the position The Risk & Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting payment network compliance and overseeing the implementation of issuing card programs within the electronic payments sector. This position requires extensive experience in the payments industry, particularly in managing client conversions and ensuring compliance with card network mandates. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while fostering relationships with key stakeholders. Responsibilities • Lead complex projects with significant scope and impact to the business. • Support new client conversions and existing client launches of new scheme products. • Review and interpret card brand documentation for applicability to processing platforms. • Identify scheme certification needs and support the program throughout certification activities. • Review completion of scheme paperwork impacting processing within internal teams and clients. • Analyze program scope and identify potential issues or risks. • Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders. • Work on diverse problems requiring evaluation of identifiable factors. • May lead training and prepare informational presentations. Requirements • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in Fintech. • Relevant experience or degree in Business or Technology preferred. • Full understanding of the payments industry and financial services sector. Nice-to-haves • Strong knowledge of payment brand product implementations and compliance release processes. • Experience in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business Management, Finance, or related field. • Current or previous TSYS experience.
