About the Opportunity: Rise Above Sports Group is an international sports agency operating across basketball, baseball, football, soccer, volleyball, track & field, and hockey. We specialize in athlete representation, global placements, and exposure opportunities, and as we scale toward a $3M+ growth goal, we are expanding our team with driven individuals ready to gain real experience in the sports industry. This is not a traditional internship—this is a direct entry into the business of sports.
What You’ll Do: Assist with athlete scouting and recruitment, support marketing and social media growth, build and manage player databases, research teams, leagues, and partnership opportunities, assist with events, combines, and tours, and communicate with athletes and prospects.
Departments Available:
Scouting & Recruitment – Identify and evaluate athletes, build player profiles, and support talent pipelines across divisions.
Marketing & Social Media – Create and manage content, promote athletes and agency services, and drive audience growth and engagement.
Data & Analytics – Track athlete performance, organize scouting databases, and provide insights to support recruitment and placements.
Business Development – Research teams, leagues, and sponsors, assist with outreach, and support partnerships and revenue opportunities.
Operations & Administration – Assist with scheduling, internal communication, document organization, and day-to-day agency operations.
Sports Divisions We Represent: Basketball, Soccer, Football, Volleyball, Baseball, Track & Field, Hockey
What You’ll Gain: Real experience working with athletes and opportunities, exposure to international sports markets, training in recruitment, sales, and deal flow, networking opportunities within the sports industry, and a pathway to paid roles and agent opportunities as well as direct opportunities to positions with major sports teams.
Ideal Candidate: Passionate about sports and business, self-motivated, coachable, strong communicator, and interested in careers as agents, scouts, marketers, or sports executives.
Compensation: Performance-based internship with earning potential. Interns may receive commission on successful client referrals, athlete placements, and closed deals, along with bonus opportunities based on performance. Top performers will be considered for paid roles within the agency.
