The Right of Way Agent will provide land acquisition services, manage project documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations throughout the right-of-way lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesProvide land acquisition services throughout the right-of-way lifecycle, in compliance with project guidelines and regulationsReview and correct title takeoffs, construction plans, and ROW documents; prepare and submit Waiver Valuation FormsDeliver property rights documents to owners and representatives; negotiate and secure parcels through approved counteroffersMaintain contact documentation, conduct final title checks, manage back taxes, and ensure removal of compensated itemsSubmit and track offer letters, counteroffers, and Releases of Damages; attend field reviews and provide weekly status reportsHandle administrative tasks including mailing notifications, filing deeds, verifying condemnation parcel addresses, and organizing acquisition packetsSubmit vendor forms to expedite payments and support efficient project closeoutSkillsMinimum of one (1) year of right of way acquisition experienceMust have one (1) of the following ODOT Prequalification's - Title, Negotiation and/or ClosingMust have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systemsValid Driver's LicenseODOT Prequalification in Relocation and Value AnalysisBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company match and disability coveragePaid time off, sick time, and holidaysTuition reimbursement and professional trainingRecognition programs and growth opportunitiesClassPass and Breethe MembershipsCompany OverviewSince 1969, ORC has been a leading ROW service provider for public agencies, utilities, and energy clients, driving responsible infrastructure progress nationwide.
