About This Role
We're currently seeking a talented and experienced Email Marketing Channel Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team at arenaflex. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing trigger-based email communications that drive customer engagement and loyalty. You'll leverage your deep expertise in the email channel to create sophisticated, data-driven campaigns that resonate with our diverse customer base. Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of trigger-based email communications using customer data and behavioral insights
Design and implement sophisticated email campaigns that respond to customer actions, milestones, and lifecycle events
Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to optimize campaign performance and measure marketing impact
Own and manage performance KPIs for the email channel, reporting on metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue attribution
Develop deep expertise in customer data and segmentation strategies to ensure personalized, relevant communications
Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder (or similar ESP) to create complex customer journeys with conditional logic and data-driven audience segmentation
Lead and mentor a team of direct reports, providing guidance on best practices and career development
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, creative, analytics, and technology teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
Stay current with industry trends, email marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our email program
Drive innovation in our email channel by proposing new strategies, automation opportunities, and creative approaches
Essential Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Advertising or Product roles with a focus on client-facing marketing initiatives
Deep expertise in the email channel, particularly in creating trigger-based communications using customer data
Strong understanding of A/B and multivariate testing methodologies and how to evaluate marketing impact
Proven experience owning performance KPIs for a marketing channel or product
Solid understanding of customer data structures and segmentation techniques
Demonstrated experience managing and developing direct reports
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder or trigger-based email capabilities within another ESP
Experience directly building audiences using conditional logic and data filters
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the financial services or fintech industry
Knowledge of email compliance regulations including CAN-SPAM and GDPR
Advanced proficiency with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
