About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Performance Data Analyst to join our team and help us drive business outcomes through data-driven insights. As a Performance Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for providing analytical support to our Contact Centers and pre-arrival Walt Disney World Commerce teams, leveraging your expertise in forecasting, root-cause analysis, and data visualization to inform business decisions. You'll work closely with our team to develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct forecasting, ad-hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions
Monitor agent performance, proactively identify areas for improvement, and develop personalized analyses from start to finish
Build reports and visualizations to inform compelling stories with data
Present and discuss findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners
Create, maintain, audit, and optimize reports and documents used to support multiple programs
Execute programs critical to the business operation under strict timelines
Measurement and Analytics
Leverage multiple reporting tools and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) to conduct analyses and build/maintain reports
Monitor data quality and document accuracy; improve if necessary
Collaborate with team members, leaders, and business partners to respond to business questions with sound quantitative analyses and reproducible results
Apply progressive analytic techniques to test hypotheses and extract actionable insights
Stay up-to-date with current data technology trends and share knowledge and best practices with team members

Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role
Familiarity with forecasting, including conventional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques
Proactive interest in understanding the "why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
Desire to excel in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous business environment
Experience with SQL and R or Python
Preferred Qualifications
Solid knowledge of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses
Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
Excellent SQL skills and fluency in R or Python
Ability to quickly adapt and learn new tools and skills
Ability to maintain and develop relationships with partners/clients/team members
Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science
