Key Responsibilities: As a Customer Service Associate I at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that every customer has a positive and memorable shopping experience. Your duties will include: Assisting customers with questions and recommendations to help them find the perfect products Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to our strict security protocols Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and receiving shipments in accordance with productivity standards Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment by maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders Maintaining the cleanliness of the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor, including participating in visual merchandising, inventory management, and special projects Essential Qualifications: To succeed as a Customer Service Associate I at arenaflex, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred) The ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents The physical ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting Excellent customer service and relationship management skills Strong organizational and communication skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Preferred Qualifications: While not required, we're looking for candidates with: Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment Knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system Perks and Benefits: As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a wide range of rewards to support your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
