Key Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Associate at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for:
Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested
Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service
Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items
Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products
Assuming web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers
Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance
Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers
Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
A basic understanding of retail operations and customer service principles
The ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
Previous retail or customer service experience
A degree in a related field, such as business or marketing
Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
Knowledge of store systems and store equipment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
