Location: Simi Valley, CA (On-Site, Full-Time) Schedule: Monday Friday
Are you an experienced, detail-driven mortgage professional with a passion for reverse mortgages? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy, compliance, and superior customer service are key? If so, Amerifund Home Loans, Inc. is looking for YOU to join our team as a Reverse Mortgage Loan Processor!
This role is critical to ensuring smooth loan processing, working closely with Loan Officers, borrowers, underwriters, and investors to deliver an exceptional client experience.
What Youll Be Doing:
Reverse Mortgage Processing & Compliance
· Manage the full loan process for reverse mortgages, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
· Review and process loan applications, verifying that all required documentation meets investor and regulatory requirements.
· Order and track third-party services, including appraisals, title, escrow, credit reports, and counseling certificates.
· Ensure compliance with HUD, FHA, and investor guidelines, as well as TRID and disclosure regulations.
· Gather and clear all loan approval conditions to ensure files are fully prepared for closing.
Loan Disclosures & Closing Coordination
· Generate and review loan disclosures, ensuring compliance with TRID timelines and investor requirements.
· Work closely with title, escrow, and closing teams to ensure all final loan documents are accurate and complete.
· Confirm funding readiness and collaborate with investors to ensure timely loan closings.
Communication & Team Support
· Provide a superior and exceptional level of service to Loan Officers, borrowers, and third-party partners.
· Be a key resource for Loan Officers, ensuring they have the necessary support to guide borrowers effectively.
· Proactively communicate with borrowers, providing updates, guidance, and a seamless experience.
· Collaborate with underwriters and multiple investors to quickly resolve conditions and clear files for closing.
· Manage deadlines and multi-task effectively, ensuring all loans close on time.
Systems & Technology
· Proficient in Quantum LOS, with experience managing reverse mortgage pipelines efficiently.
· Familiarity with multiple reverse mortgage lenders, including Finance of America, Longbridge, and others.
· Comfortable using technology to streamline workflows, including document management systems and automated processes.
What Were Looking For:
· Reverse Mortgage Expertise: 2+ years of experience processing reverse mortgages, with a strong understanding of FHA, HUD, and investor guidelines.
· Proficiency in Quantum LOS and experience working with multiple reverse mortgage lenders.
· Tech-Savvy & Fast Learner: Comfortable navigating loan origination systems and investor portals.
· Detail-Oriented & Deadline-Driven: Manages multiple files while ensuring compliance and efficiency.
· Superior Customer Service Mentality: Delivers an exceptional level of service to borrowers, Loan Officers, and partners.
