Overview:
The Revenue Manager is responsible for driving revenue performance across The Kessler Collection’s portfolio of luxury boutique hotels through data-driven insights, strategic pricing, and demand forecasting. This role plays a key part in supporting revenue strategy by analyzing trends, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities to optimize profitability and market share.Working closely with Regional Directors of Revenue, Complex Directors of Revenue, and property-level teams, the Revenue Manager provides critical analysis and reporting that informs decision-making across the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Revenue Strategy & OptimizationSupport the development and execution of pricing and inventory strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and total revenueAnalyze booking pace, demand trends, and segmentation to recommend strategic adjustmentsAssist in optimizing business mix across transient, group, and other revenue streamsEvaluate promotional strategies and pricing effectivenessForecasting & ReportingPrepare and maintain accurate short-term and long-term forecastsProduce weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for leadershipMonitor key performance indicators, including RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, and index metrics (RGI, MPI, ARI)Track forecast accuracy and refine methodologies as neededMarket & Competitive AnalysisConduct regular competitive set analysis and benchmarkingMonitor local market trends, events, and demand driversEvaluate competitor pricing and positioning to inform strategyIdentify risks and opportunities based on market shiftsSystems & Distribution ManagementSupport management of revenue systems, including RMS, CRS, and PMS platformsEnsure data accuracy and rate integrity across all distribution channelsAssist in optimizing channel mix and distribution strategyMaintain reporting tools, dashboards, and data modelsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align revenue strategiesParticipate in revenue strategy meetings and provide supporting analysisAssist in preparing presentations for leadership and ownership groupsServe as a key resource for data insights and performance tracking
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred3–5+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or analyticsExperience with Marriott systems and/or luxury or lifestyle hospitality preferredMulti-property or portfolio experience is a plusAdvanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)Experience with revenue management systems (e.g., One Yield, GPO, CI/TY, etc.)Familiarity with PMS/CRS platforms (e.g., Opera, WebRezPro)Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and data accuracyAbility to translate data into actionable insightsEffective communication and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
