Revenue Cycle Data Entry Specialist

General Description of the JobThe Data Entry Specialist position provides data entry support for BHRCMS’s professional behavioral health revenue cycle operations. Data entry will primarily be in Qualifact’s CareLogic, Netsmart’s myEvolv or Meditech’s EHR system.Duties and Responsibilities of this LevelData Entry data as assigned.Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.Required Qualifications at this LevelEducation: High School diploma or GED is requiredExperience: Minimum of one year data entry experiencePrevious experience successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders with a consistent track record of delivering on time, and/or high quality results preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Review and analyze credit balances on claims with complicated scenarios and suggest claim actions to be takenPerform adjustments for claims with credit balancesReview denials for timely filing and enter appropriate reasons to be submitted for writeoff approvalPerform claim actions for claims approved for write offPerform claim actions specially in bulk as identified by claims specialistsPerform claim actions on secondary claims satisfied by primary payersPerform Quality Assurance tasks on your own work and reportingExperience with outpatient Behavioral Health insurance coverage is vital.Experience working with Google Sheets, Excel Spreadsheets, drafting emails is vital.Experience working with CareLogic EHR is essential.Experience working remotely and communicating through email and Google Chat is important.Experience with Massachusetts Medicaid products is important.The intent of this job description is to provide a representative and level of the types of duties and responsibilities that will be required of positions given this title and shall not be construed as a declaration of the total of the specific duties and responsibilities of any particular position.
