Revenue Coordinator

Cooley LLP is seeking a Revenue Coordinator to join their Accounting team. The Revenue Coordinator is responsible for all billing aspects for designated billing attorneys, including client billing distribution, logging, preparation, processing, and delivery.ResponsibilitiesCollections, including contacting clients directing for payment of outstanding bills and keeping manager and responsible attorneys abreast of potential collection problemsProvide prompt and accurate assistance to attorneys, clients and staff in resolving billing problemsResearch all inquiries regarding past and present billingWork with eBilling team to submit electronically billed invoices and to promptly address eBilling matter set up, timekeeper set up and rejections/adjustmentsMonitor short payments and if necessary complete write off requestsReconcile unallocated paymentsReview and summarize engagement letters pertaining to special financial agreementsBe aware of special financial arrangements in accounting systemBe aware of special fee and cost rate structuresProvide guidance and training to new billing attorneys, as necessaryAll other duties as assigned or requiredAll other duties as assigned or requiredSkillsAfter orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applicationsStrong Excel skillsAvailable to work overtime, as required1+ years direct applicable experience (e.g., principles of billing, accounting, billing rates and client maintenance procedures)General knowledge of accounting conceptsBachelor's degreePrior law firm experiencePrevious 3E and electronic billing experience10 key by touchBenefitsMedicalHealth savings account (with applicable medical plan)DentalVisionHealth and/or dependent care flexible spending accountsPre-tax commuter benefitsLife insuranceAD&DLong-term care coverageBackup care for children and/or adultsOther parental support benefitsFirm-paid life insuranceAD&DLTDShort term medical benefits20 days of Paid Time Off (β€œPTO”)10 paid holidays each yearGenerous parental leaveFertility benefitsCompany OverviewClients partner with Cooley on transformative deals, complex IP and regulatory matters, and high-stakes litigation.
