About the position

The Retirement Plan Fund Change Specialist at SS&C is responsible for processing all plan-fund changes, mass exchanges, and fund-related items within each client platform. This role focuses exclusively on plan fund change processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations while collaborating with clients and team members to optimize processes and improve service delivery.

Responsibilities
• Independently process all plan-level fund related items for existing plans across all clients.

• Ensure all data and systems requirements are executed accurately.
,
• Collaborate with others to address system issues, training issues, and procedural changes.
,
• Engage with clients to ensure accuracy, post-event confirmation, and process improvements.
,
• Perform complex computations and analyze data with a high level of accuracy.
,
• Collect and analyze information, assess plan requirements, and generate innovative solutions.
,
• Leverage data reporting to facilitate client optimization of actual value.
,
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members to achieve team goals.
,
• Learn about new products and services.
,
• Process complex and simple transactions for various clients such as mutual funds, defined contribution, and 529 plans.

• Generate and distribute record-keeper data.
,
• Receive exposure and training on various complex software systems.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience.
,
• 3-5 years of Defined Contribution Plan administration processing and/or Plan Fund Change experience required.
,
• Proficient knowledge of qualified retirement plans and an understanding of financial on fund level processing.
,
• General knowledge of Internal Revenue Services and Security Exchange Commission regulations.
,
• Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel required.
,
• Effective communication skills required.
