The primary focus of this position is to ensure exceptional customer service is provided during point of sale and customer service procedures, with a strong emphasis on maintaining operational efficiency and systematic execution. Your main responsibility will be to expedite service transactions while also fostering an appealing customer journey.
What You'll Do as Retail Sales Associate - Part Time:
ā¢ Create customer engagement through a polite welcome and provision of assistance with product and service queries. Manage cash register functions, scan goods, package purchases, and handle different payment methods correctly
ā¢ Maintain adherence to company guidelines for point-of-sale transactions and customer interactions, emphasizing the importance of delivering prompt, friendly, and efficient service
ā¢ Fulfill or surpass individual quotas like credit and customer retention
ā¢ Preserve inventory accuracy by diligently carrying out all essential retail transaction and merchandise disposal procedures
ā¢ Assist with the on-the-job training of new service staff members by instructing them on the most effective processes to implement, coaching them on the correct procedures for point of sale transactions, and training them on how to make the most of the tools and resources provided while adhering to Kohl's brand standards
ā¢ Participate in the regular service procedures, such as recording transactions, reconciling cash registers, and replenishing essential materials
