About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Cashier. If you have a passion for serving others, then join the Tailwind team at the VPS Airport! As a Retail Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
? Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with their purchases.
? Inspect Gift Shop and packaged food area to maintain store appearance, organization, etc..
? Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
? Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
? Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
? Process returns and exchanges following company policies.
? Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
? Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
? Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
? Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
? Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
? Proven experience in cash handling and customer service.
? Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
? Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
? Proficiency with POS systems.
Requirements:
? Must be able to pass background check to receive an airport badge.
? Must be able to lift 25-30lbs.
? Reliable transportation.
? ServSafe certification.
