Respiratory Therapist, Supervisor - Pediatric

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist Supervisor with a specialization in pediatrics to join our team. As a supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our young patients with respiratory issues. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced respiratory therapist with strong leadership skills to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families. Join us in our mission to improve the health and well-being of our pediatric patients. Oversee and manage the respiratory therapy department, including day-to-day operations, staffing, and scheduling. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of respiratory therapists, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure that all respiratory therapy services are delivered in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines. Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure they are up-to-date on the latest techniques and equipment. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by respiratory therapists, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with respiratory issues. Stay informed about advancements in respiratory therapy and pediatric care, and make recommendations for incorporating them into practice. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatments and progress. Serve as a liaison between the respiratory therapy department and other departments within the hospital. Participate in hospital committees and initiatives related to pediatric respiratory care. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Manage department budget and resources effectively.
