Location: United States (West Coast)About the RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Resident Architect (RA) with a passion for solving complex problems using dbt to join our Professional Services team. RAs are billable to dbt Cloud Enterprise customers and play a critical role in advancing our mission to empower data developers to create and share organizational knowledge.What You'll DoDrive customer outcomesLead a variety of impactful technical projects for customers—including implementation, configuration troubleshooting, embedding best practices, and designing both MVPs and long-term solutions tailored to customer needsProvide architectural and design consulting to ensure scalable and maintainable implementationsChampion product adoption for our most strategic dbt Cloud customers by aligning solutions to their goalsCollaborate closely with internal customer-facing teams—Sales, Solutions Architects, Training, and Support—to ensure seamless customer experiencesDeliver actionable feedback to dbt Labs' Product and Engineering teams to help prioritize customer needs and ensure quick resolution of engagement-specific issuesDevelop deep expertise in dbt and its role within the modern data stack (if not already an expert)What You'll NeedYou have 4+ years experience working with technical data tooling in a customer-facing post-sales, technical architect or consulting roleYou have deep expertise in at least one data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift)You have experience using, deploying, or configuring dbt Cloud - working with dbt for minimum 1 yearYou are proficient in writing SQL and python in analytics contextsYou look forward to building skills in technical areas that support deployment and integration of dbt Cloud solutions to complete customer projectsYou are customer focused - embracing one of core values that users are our best advocatesYou are highly organized.
