The Research Data Analyst will assist with analytical and computational needs for research projects under the direction of the Principal Investigator, focusing on data collection, analysis, and reporting.ResponsibilitiesPerforms basic computational modeling and statistical analysis; prepares drafts of work for review; applies feedback received to create final analyses and/or reportsMeets with the PI and team to discuss work plans, activities, and results to support the applicability of efforts, learning opportunities, and professional developmentReviews, collates, and prepares standard analyses of medical record dataPerform administrative tasks, such as required for data collection; prepare documentation and record-keeping; update databases; run reportsConducts literature searches and submits appropriate articles to PI and team for consideration; identifies topics of interest for personal reading and may present at lab meetingsSkillsBachelor's requiredPrior training to include programming skills in Stata, including data appends, merges, curation, and analyticsAbility to perform system administrator functions, e.g. version or software updatesWorks autonomously and under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and team manager for ongoing projectsDevelops programs which maintain network resiliency and ensure data integrityDeveloped and maintains detailed written documentation of workAdapts programs for optimization based on user feedbackPerforms all other duties as assignedMaster's Degree preferred in Statistics, Quantitative Science, and/or EpidemiologyAn ideal candidate will have knowledge of web-based design and programming, and using APIsA candidate with secondary skills in Full Stack Programming and GitHub or similar portfolio will be favoredBenefitsComprehensive benefitsCareer advancement opportunitiesDifferentialsPremiums and bonuses as applicableRecognition programs designed to celebrate your contributions and support your professional growthCompany OverviewMass General Brigham specializes in providing medical treatments and health diagnostics services.
