Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to provide specialized biostatistical consultation and technical support to students and researchers within the HEIDS Program (Emerging Infectious Disease and HIV Scholars Program). This role serves as a bridge for students requiring expert guidance on data analysis, study design, and statistical software to advance their grant-funded research projects.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position for up to 20 hours/week with a current end date of 2 months from the date of hire.

Job Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related quantitative field.
Required: 0-3 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in advanced statistical methodologies and data analysis.
Experience using statistical software packages (such as R, SAS, or SPSS).
Prior experience in teaching or tutoring preferred.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts to non-experts.
And/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
