They are seeking a Research Data Analyst I to support and maintain the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages Program by managing data files, preparing reports, and ensuring data accuracy.ResponsibilitiesSupports and maintains the QCEW operating system by loading data files, running specialized data programs, and backing up other analysts with their responsibilitiesParticipates in the preparation of various weekly, quarterly, and annual reportsReviews data, identifies data anomalies, and makes needed corrections to the data and loading those corrections into various systemsResponsible for the accuracy and reliability of the data produced and may need to contact employers on the most complex issuesServes as a point of contact, provides program training, and responds to inquiries from othersLeads and/or participates on projectsSkillsMust obtain list eligibility by taking and passing the examinationCurrent version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.govAll Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the positionStatement of Qualifications - A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is RequiredCompany OverviewWhen you turn to us, we have a program that can help you reach your goals.
