Research Consultant (Technical Writer)
- PSI's MERL team is building a pool of scientific and technical writing consultants to support research and learning initiatives across global health programs through flexible Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IQC), with individual task orders issued as needed.
- Consultants will lead or support production of professional research outputs including reports, briefs, and peer-reviewed journal manuscripts; provide end-to-end manuscript support from journal selection through revisions; coordinate multi-author inputs and synthesize content; and deliver substantive, language, and copy editing for technical research outputs.
- Additional responsibilities include leading evidence synthesis activities such as systematic and scoping literature reviews, developing graphics and data visualizations, and facilitating webinars on technical writing topics for PSI staff.
- Candidates must hold a Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field such as public health, epidemiology, anthropology, sociology, or economics, with demonstrated experience writing and editing professional research outputs in global health topics.
- Required qualifications include previous consultant experience, exceptional written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently across time zones and multicultural teams, and strong organizational abilities. French language skills are preferred.
