The Research Assistant is responsible for supporting the logistic and administrative aspects of research projects and departmental initiatives. The Research Assistant ensures that all study activity is in accordance with the guidelines, instructions and specifications as outlined in the research protocol. The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with MCHS policies and procedures. Position is eligible for hybrid location (work remotely for greater than 50% of the time) however some onsite work in Marshfield, WI will be required. Flexible scheduling available, evening hours preferred. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: • Completion of 30 college credits in a physical, biological, social science, or related field OR • High school diploma AND one year related experience required, including customer service and clerical functions. Preferred/Optional: Completion of 30 college credits in a physical, biological, social science, or related field and experience in a medical or research field. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position. Minimum Required: • Human Subjects Protection and Good Clinical Practice training through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) within 90 days of hire. • Other Certifications/Licenses as listed per the department the position resides in. Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
