We are looking for a Trainer III who serves as the lead trainer for Eastern Region's training team. Duties include training DCFS employees in the Practice Model, as well as other assigned training responsibilities, for both new and current employees. The employee functions as a lead trainer by providing technical assistance to other trainers, technicians and employees. The employee has the responsibility for major agency-wide training programs with duites including curriculum development, on-going assessment and maintenance of the program's contents and agency-wide training delivery. Applies a working knowledge of employee motivated quality and productivity improvement techniques to facilitate the implementation of quality systems within the region. Assists work unit management in defining a mission and vision.

This position is telework eligible. The State of Utah requires all employees to physically work inside the State of Utah Boundaries.

Pay starts at $30.56.

Principal Duties
As a Trainer III you will:

Delivers presentations, stand up training, or instruction to staff, management, clients, or the general public.
Designs and prepare training/instructional materials, teaching aids and devices.
Conduct training needs assessments and recommends training programs.
Coordinate program activities, services, program implementation with private providers, other governmental entities, program users, etc.
Work with the intern program for the region.
Provide training and mentoring to the other trainers in the region.
Preference
Preference may be given to employees having:


Training experience with DCFS AND
A working understanding of the DCFS training process and mentoring program.
At least 3 years of case management experience with both CPS and Permanency experience.
