Job description: Summary: Serves as secretary to the guidance office and public being served in communicating information, problem
solving, and material acquisition. This is a school year position with up to five (5) additional days before and at the end of the school year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Staff in this position will
Provide confidential administrative support.
Maintain Middle School Attendance records.
Work productively as a member of a team.
Communicate clearly and effectively.
Work with children, school personnel, and/or the public.
Work closely with guidance staff on student enrollments and cumulative files.
Handle incoming calls appropriately.
Schedule appointments, interviews, etc.
Schedule tutoring as needed.
Maintain accurate files and records.
Operate all types of office equipment.
Produce documents and reports as requested.
Maintain and track supplies.
Organize student needs for summer school.
Enter and retrieve information from District software programs.
Perform any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor.
