Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and update patient information into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Verify and correct data discrepancies to maintain the integrity of healthcare records.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and precise data entry.
Manage sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Generate reports and provide data analysis to support healthcare operations.
Assist in the development and maintenance of data entry procedures and protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher in healthcare, IT, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in data entry, preferably within the healthcare sector.
Proficiency in using EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations is a plus.
