The role involves managing releases, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with policies.ResponsibilitiesAs part of the Cloud Operations team ensures releases are done as per plan, and progress is communicated to all stakeholdersWork to resolve technical issues and escalations at the infrastructure and application levelsLeading, driving, facilitating, and managing Incident bridgeProvide scheduled on-call services for emergency changesParticipate in the site incidents troubleshooting triage effortsWork directly with developers to fix the technical issues they are facing, engage relevant teams, and take issues to a logical conclusionImprove existing processes and automate using new tools and scriptsWork on different projects, provide status updates and meet stakeholder expectationsDefine and improve existing releases, and deployment processes and drive discussions within the teamManage releases and deployments in the distributed Environment across multiple stacks and ensure compliance with Illumio policiesWork collaboratively and efficiently with all internal and external partners and stakeholders across multiple time zones to ensure timely deliverySkills5+ years of total experience with a bachelor's degree is requiredSolid knowledge of the Linux operating system, Ubuntu, RHEL, and OEL7 is requiredApplication support and debugging experience in a dynamic fast-paced production environmentKnowledge/Experience of Incident ManagementNetwork basics and Troubleshooting skillsLoad balancers / Traffic manager knowledgeVirtualization, Containerization KnowledgeGood understanding of Production deployment, Distributed Env requiredSound knowledge in one or more programming languages like shell, and python4+ years in a production support role in a fast-paced industry/organizationStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively across global teamsAbility to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities to deliver projects on scheduleStrong problem-solving and operational process skills and attention to detailKnowledge of GIT, Jira, and Jenkins preferredBenefitsComprehensive health benefitsDiverse learning & growth opportunitiesAccessible Cloud HR platform (Sprout)Above standard leavesCompany OverviewAre you ready to defy your limits?
