The Workplace Operations Manager will lead the development and scalability of workplace functions, focusing on designing efficient systems and aligning operations with business goals.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement workplace operations strategies aligned with company growth plansDesign scalable processes, policies, and systems to support current and future office needsIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across workplace operationsPartner with leadership on workplace strategy, capacity planning, and future expansionUse data and insights to inform decisions around space utilisation, cost, and efficiencyOversee office operations through coordination with Office Management and front-of-house supportOwn vendor strategy, contract negotiation, and performance management across cleaning, maintenance, facilities, and related servicesLead workplace planning initiatives, including layout optimisation, office expansions, and new locationsEnsure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards at a strategic levelAct as the escalation point for complex facilities or operational issuesOwn and manage workplace operations budgets, including OPEX and CAPEXTrack and optimise spend across vendors, services, and infrastructureIdentify cost-saving opportunities and improve resource allocationLead procurement strategy for office-related services and equipmentDefine and evolve the workplace experience strategyPartner with People/HR teams on initiatives impacting employee experienceEnsure workplace design supports productivity, collaboration, and engagementProvide guidance on workplace programmes rather than owning logisticsPartner with IT to ensure workplace systems and tools are scalable and effectiveEvaluate and implement tools that improve workplace operations and reportingDrive operational efficiency through system improvements and automationBuild workplace operations frameworks that can scale across multiple locationsSupport new office launches and expansion projectsEstablish standards and playbooks for consistent workplace experience across sitesSkillsProven experience in Workplace Operations, Facilities Management, or a similar strategic roleStrong experience scaling office environments or supporting organisational growthDemonstrated ability to build processes and systems from the ground upExperience managing complex vendor ecosystems and contractsSolid understanding of facilities and building systems, including HVAC and complianceStrong financial acumen, including OPEX and CAPEX budget ownershipStrategic mindset with the ability to step back from day-to-day executionExcellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior leadershipExperience managing multi-site or international office operationsBackground in high-growth or scaling organisationsExperience implementing workplace tools or systemsExposure to workplace strategy, real estate, or space planningBenefitsHighly competitive package, including base and equity, with reviews every 12 months.In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.Human-First Flexibility: We treat you as humans first. 🫢🏽 Our flexible workplace trusts Nscalers to deliver, giving you the autonomy to shape your day around life's moments.Join our thriving remote-first team.
