[Remote] WorkDay Senior Integration Architect
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Transformco is seeking a Senior Data & Integration Architect, HCM who serves as the senior technical authority for Workday integrations and analytics. This role is responsible for architecting and optimizing a scalable data ecosystem to support enterprise HCM, Payroll, and Financials needs.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Leads end-to-end technical architecture for complex Workday integrations across HCM, Payroll, and Financials
ā¢ Develops and oversees high-priority integrations using Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, EIBs, and Document Transformation
ā¢ Designs scalable reporting and analytics frameworks
ā¢ Manages inbound and outbound data flows using REST and SOAP APIs
ā¢ Architect advanced reporting solutions using Prism Analytics, Discovery Boards, and Matrix Reporting
ā¢ Designs and builds custom business-form layouts using BIRT for high-impact outputs such as offer letters, invoices, and payslips
ā¢ Implements optimizations to efficiently process large data volumes
ā¢ Partners with leadership to define the Workday technical roadmap
ā¢ Oversees data orchestration with third-party middleware platforms
ā¢ Conducts audits of integration performance and report run-times
ā¢ Co-Leads evaluation and adoption of new capabilities from Workday bi-annual releases
Skills
ā¢ Bachelors Degree
ā¢ 5-10 years of related experience
ā¢ 18 years of age or older
ā¢ Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
ā¢ 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 3-5 years specifically dedicated to Workday Technical Architecture
ā¢ Expert-level proficiency in Workday Studio including API Orchestration, transformation, sequencing and error handling
ā¢ Advanced knowledge of Calculated Fields, Composite Reports, and BIRT
ā¢ Strong understanding of XML, XSLT, GJR, and JSON
ā¢ Design and maintain Prism datasets (tables, relationships, derived fields)
ā¢ Strong project management skills
ā¢ Expert in developing Workday Rest and SOAP Web Services
ā¢ High level of understanding and experience using Workday connectors (E.g. Payroll PECI & PICOF Integrations)
ā¢ Workday Integration and/or Reporting certifications are highly preferred
ā¢ Background in SQL or other data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake and Workday Prism
ā¢ Experience with Workday Extend for building custom applications
