They are seeking a Payroll Functional Consultant who will guide clients through the implementation and optimization of payroll systems, ensuring efficient operations and successful transitions to new processes.ResponsibilitiesLead client discovery and requirements gathering to understand current payroll processes, business rules, and desired outcomesConfigure payroll solutions to meet defined business requirements and best practice standardsPartner with data conversion teams to support accurate migration of legacy payroll dataAssist with end-to-end and parallel testing and validation of payroll configurations, ensuring system accuracy and performanceServe as a payroll subject matter expert, answering questions and advising on optimal configuration and process decisionsCommunicate project status, risks, and key decisions to internal stakeholders and client leadershipMentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing across the teamIdentify opportunities for additional services and enhancements that support client goalsSkills3+ years of experience in Workday Payroll implementation, consulting, or systems configuration with a strong focus on payroll solutionsExperience supporting Healthcare or Nonprofit customersDemonstrated ability to gather and document business requirements and translate them into effective payroll configurationsPrior experience in a consulting or professional services environmentWorkday Payroll certificationStrong functional knowledge of payroll operations and payroll system logic, including calculations, tax rules, deductions, and reportingExperience with one or more major payroll or HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, Oracle, SAP, Paychex) with configuration experienceBachelor's degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or related fieldExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiencesExperience developing training materials and leading client workshopsFamiliarity with integration design, Excel tools, testing methodologies, and data conversion best practicesCompany OverviewThree Link Solutions provides staff augmentation, project management, robotic process automation and payroll advisory services.
