[Remote] Workday Financial Reporting Analyst

Dice is seeking an experienced Workday Financial Reporting Analyst to support a finance and procurement organization during a short-term reporting optimization project. The role involves enhancing existing Workday Financial reports, developing new reporting solutions, and providing knowledge transfer to internal team members.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and enhance existing Workday Financial reports and dashboards developed during a recent Workday implementationDesign, build, and modify custom Workday reports to support Finance and Procurement operationsDevelop reporting solutions for: Federal Financial Reports (FFR), Grants and program financial reporting, Program income statements, Budget-to-actual reporting, Income and balance reporting, CERF and other compliance-related reporting requirementsCreate executive and operational dashboards to improve financial visibility and decision-makingCollaborate with Finance Directors, Procurement leadership, and reporting stakeholders to gather requirements and validate report outputsProvide recommendations on reporting best practices and Workday reporting capabilitiesConduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor internal team members on report development and maintenanceParticipate in daily project discussions and progress meetings to ensure timely delivery of reporting solutionsSkillsHands-on experience developing and modifying reports within Workday FinancialsStrong understanding of Workday Reporting tools, including: Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, Dashboards, Calculated FieldsExperience supporting Finance and/or Procurement organizationsAbility to translate business requirements into meaningful financial reports and dashboardsStrong communication skills with the ability to work directly with finance stakeholders and leadershipProven experience working independently in a remote consulting environmentExperience supporting grants management and federal reporting requirementsKnowledge of Federal Financial Reporting (FFR) processes and compliance reportingExperience developing budget, program financial, and income statement reporting within WorkdayPrior experience supporting government contractors, nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, or federally funded organizationsExperience performing short-term project-based consulting engagements focused on Workday Financials optimizationCompany OverviewDice is the go-to career marketplace for tech professionals.
