They will conduct data analysis across different projects, following business and technical requirements related to business system implementation projects. This role is analysis and governance centric; standardizing and cleansing data solutions/building related models, which are then handed to governance, developers, engineers, and DBAs to implement.
Skill sets needed:
Be responsible for performing data analysis which includes inspecting, profiling, transforming with the goal of discovering useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting decision making
Perform data analysis on source data to ensure target data model design will meet requirements. Knowledge of the process of sourcing data and cleansing techniques.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) with a focus on data analysis, data structures and data modeling.
Experience in data analysis, data clean up, using related analytical tools and programming languages. Extensive experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues.
Knowledge of various data structures and the ability to visualize data standards. Data warehousing, data cleaning, and other analytical techniques required for data usage.
Solid understanding of different OLTP/transactional database platforms (e.g. DB2, Oracle, Posgresql, NoSQL).
Solid experience with data design, from requirements analysis to conceptual, logical and physical data model designs for OLTP applications is a requirement.
Demonstrable experience with data modeling tools (e.g. SAP Power Designer or Erwin) is a must.
Experience working in an Agile development and project management environment. Experience with data dictionary or other data governance management tools.
