Key Responsibilities
Create precise verbatim transcripts from audio recordings, ensuring adherence to established style guides.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail, especially in understanding legal terminology.
Manage deadlines effectively while delivering superior quality outputs.
Collaborate with our supportive in-office team for guidance as necessary.
Required Skills
Demonstrated experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is essential.
Exceptional listening abilities for accurate transcription.
Strong adherence to deadlines and specific client style guides.
Outstanding literacy skills, encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
Proven typing proficiency in speed and accuracy.
Capability to process sensitive or potentially offensive audio/text content.
Familiarity with legal terminology is a must.
Court reporting students are also encouraged to apply.
