[Remote] Wireless Network Engineer

They are seeking a Network Engineer with hands-on experience in Mist access points, Marvis AI, and Juniper routing and switching to drive network reliability and performance.ResponsibilitiesConduct network information-gathering workshops to understand existing designs and new requirementsLearn customer organization, processes, and procedures to support a sustainable networkTest new designs, features, and functionality in lab environments and develop implementation and verification plans for productionValidate software patches and fixes in pre-production and deploy to production per planTroubleshoot equipment and network issues and manage JTAC cases for resolutionProcess and track RMAs through problem resolutionProduce regular written status reports on design projects, equipment, and network issuesLead technology workshops and provide case status updates, workarounds, and solutionsTrain customer design, implementation, and support teams to configure and operate Juniper productsAssist in developing network and equipment operating proceduresSupport production environments for Juniper products and define best practices for customer use casesPeer with other resident engineers to share lessons learned and minimize upgrade riskDevelop secondary skills across the Juniper product portfolioSkillsMust be authorised to work in the United States without sponsorshipMist design and deployment experience, including wireless assuranceProficiency with Mist API and Web UI; hands-on with Mist APs, Marvis AI, and edge devicesExperience in Juniper Campus Fabric designs using Mist; Apstra experience5+ years in design, implementation, and operations of large-scale IP networksJUNOS CLI proficiency; large-scale experience with QFX, EX, and PTX platformsEVPN/VXLAN expertise in enterprise or data center environmentsStrong routing knowledge: BGP (eBGP, iBGP) and OSPFAutomation background with Ansible, YAML, Juniper PyEZ, and Python scriptingClear communication in crisis and executive-facing presentation skillsAbility to translate complex requirements into best-practice solutions and support major upgrades and maintenance windowsTechnical certifications: JNCIS-MistAI (Wireless) and JNCIP-MistAI, supported by practical operational experience with Mist and the web UIExperience preparing and validating Juniper configurations for installs, changes, and upgradesDevelopment of fault diagnosis and operational procedures for Juniper productsNetwork health assessments, integration and migration planning, and upgrade validation testingTroubleshooting of complex network issues and ongoing knowledge transferWorking knowledge of JSON templates and continued use of Mist API/Web UIBenefitsCompetitive compensation and benefits.Opportunities for growth with global clients.A supportive, inclusive culture that values innovation and people.Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and projectsCompany OverviewBCforward is an information technology consulting and staffing firm.
