The role involves consultative sales of payment solutions to various client groups, focusing on cash flow management and risk mitigation while fostering relationships with internal partners and clients.ResponsibilitiesExecutes sales plan, develops strong partnership and collaboration with line of business and other internal partners to identify and drive client/prospect sales opportunities to achieve/exceed revenue and portfolio growth objectives for assigned client portfolioFosters relationships with bankers and product partners to collaborate on opportunities and engage in strategic client planningIndependently manages a portfolio of clients with payments needs, requiring general knowledge of banking and payments solutions as well as working capital conceptsParticipates in the development of detailed relationship plans for clients/prospects within assigned client group to identify key retention and new client acquisition opportunitiesResponsible for providing client working capital services and solutions, including receivables, payables, information reporting and liquidity solutions (depending on position need, a product specialization may be required)Adheres and follows all applicable policies and procedures. Proactively escalates issues and risks to leadership's attentionAbility to consult with a client through various methods of communication in an effective manner (ex. email, phone, voicemail, virtual meeting, etc.)Responsible for accurate reporting of sales efforts, sales effort progression and sales revenue in addition to other administrative reporting as requiredConsidered a leader amongst peers for product knowledge and best in class strategiesMeets with clients virtually to assess client needs, review their financial management practices and solutions, conduct cash flow cycle conversations and make recommendations for needed solutionsCoordinate fulfillment process as needed and make referrals to product experts as requiredManage/solve complex servicing issues for clients, by maintaining a strong understanding of resources within TruistMeets individual performance goals of revenue/profit growth desired behaviorsSkillsBachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience3 years of sales experience in financial services or payment solutionsDemonstrated ability to conduct business via virtual methods including: accomplished interpersonal communication, negotiation skills, proactive client contact, building rapport, understanding client needs, conducting in-depth financial reviews and effectively communicating solutions that meet client needsStrong knowledge of how a business operates and the full set of financial solutions needed by the aligned business segmentations to include the financial services sales process and cycleExceptionally strong time management and organizational skills as well as ability to manage a large pipeline of deals in various stagesSelf-Starter with the ability to work productively without close supervision5 years or more sales in financial services or direct experience in payment solutionsCertified Treasury ProfessionalBenefitsAll regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan to teammates.Teammates also receive no less than 10 days of vacation (prorated based on date of hire and by full-time or part-time status) during their first year of employment, along with 10 sick days (also prorated), and paid holidays.Depending on the position and division, this job may also be eligible for Truist’s defined benefit pension plan, restricted stock units, and/or a deferred compensation plan.As you advance through the hiring process, you will also learn more about the specific benefits available for any non-temporary position for which you apply, based on full-time or part-time status, position, and division of work.Company OverviewTruist is the sixth-largest commercial bank in the U.S. It was founded in 2019, and is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
