[Remote] Wellness Program Manager(Richmond VA)

The Wellness Program Manager will collaborate with the client’s health promotion team to enhance onsite wellness initiatives, ensuring client satisfaction and program effectiveness.ResponsibilitiesLead, manage and grow the Wellness Champion Network in partnership with the South Carolina based Well-being Program ManagerPlan and execute onsite events, including health fairs and local wellness initiativesLead weekly meditation sessions, stretch breaks, and other onsite wellness activitiesCoordinate and lead onsite flu clinics, biometric screenings and blood pressure checksPartner with the onsite fitness center manager to plan and lead wellness eventsCoordinate and lead well-being meetings, webinars, and internal/external communicationsCollaborate with employee resource groups to promote health and wellness programsBuild relationships to drive support from key stakeholdersDevelop tailored recommendations for well-being initiativesSupport program evaluation, performance reviews, and wellness strategy developmentManage ongoing wellness programs and promotional eventsDevelop and maintain schedules to ensure the effective execution of health education programsSkillsBA / BS in health-related field requiredMinimum of 5 years of wellness coordinating, or similar client facing experience requiredExcellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking, presentation, budgeting, and computer skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelDemonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple relationships with multiple client stakeholders in a dynamic and stressful environmentCertified Yoga instructor and relevant experienceStrong understanding of behavior change theoryStrong program planning skillsBusiness and technology services experienceProfessional presence and technical credibility to interact with senior-level customer contactsBenefitsThis position is also eligible for a discretionary company bonus, based upon business results.Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the company sponsored benefit programs, including the following within the first 12 months of employment:Health Insurance (medical, dental, and vision coverage)Paid Time Off (including vacation, sick leave, and flexible holiday days)401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matchingLife and Disability InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Commuter and/or Transit Benefits (if applicable)Company OverviewMedscape provides integrated medical information and educational tools online for primary care physicians and health care professionals.
